I had been trying, unsuccessfully i might add, to get a picture of this particular species of butterfly, and finally, at our last stop in the mountains, one sat still just long enough for me to get the perfect picture, almost like it was actually posing for me. i did a little fiddling to make the colors come out a bit more, but it remains pretty much the same picture.
